Why do we Forget? - The Ways to Quickly Remember Anything At All !

If you're some Students let's take for example, a secondary School Student and you're in a  Competitive  class. Dealing with forgetfulness is a big let down, a serious cause of low self-esteem!

It's so frustrating that after your alleged Tough Reading you get to the Exam Hall and all your gimmicks and brain capturing; everything you've read,  all leaving you when an apparent or likened question, not of something you've not read...No!... Something you feasted on twenty minutes ago, all vaporized- at the very point you needed it!-

Even your Boy-friend or girlfriend betrayer can't hold a candle to that, seeing that it was some very important Exam like your WASSCE or NECO!

Solomon once said, "Where there is no vision, people gets destroyed!"

You're not the first, the last or only person that may be suffering from this insomnia, many People are on its trails.

Hey, that is meant to be some encouragement-some start up- but it shouldn't end on 'The Beginning' level- i bet it should proceed.

Okay folks, i need you to straighten your Seat Belt, it's time to fly real HARD!- You want some Real-Remembering-Tonic Cake, then   here we GO!

A notable Psychologist and that's Professor Seashore has this to say, of which i have carefully made it plain to the reader's capture, that;

"The Average Human does not make use of his Actual Inherited-Capacity for Memory except TEN percent of it. Wasting the remaining NINETY percent by constantly violating the natural laws guiding REMEMBERING."

From the   above information, we notice a quite Shining Gem and what is that gem? It's the word, NATURAL LAWS GUIDING REMEMBERING."

The Natural Laws Guiding Remembering are segmented into THREE PARTS and trust me, if you work with these parts, you'll beat even the first position Classmate of yours knocking him impressively down come next Examination and you know something, you won't be the UP and DOWN Victor, Nope!, the knowledge and it's Impact will be continually MIGHT BLOWING!

The Three of them are IMPRESSION, ASSOCIATION and REPETITION.

Let's deal with the first law-IMPRESSION.

To really have a Strong and Visual land mark (Impression) or the thing  you have a wish to recollect, firstly, you have to concentrate.

Do some concentration, Yep, buddy!- I know some people can't concentrate when there is noise, others can't where there is some fellows, some enjoy whatever they do which includes  'Memorizing of Words', in the midst of crowdy, lousy places sighting that cool or calm place is like the grave- and they don't give any lick to graves or dead places- They are agile, active and can concentrate in such places that are crowdy and Noisy.

You know yourself even more better than others do and, so i will advise you to stick to the one that works for you.

The real intoxicating path is that, if you want to remember or quicken your brain, accumulating knowledge or anything whatsoever, you intend to make it do, then, work on making such things 'IRONED', 'TATTOOED' (not the bodily one, please), 'SCRUBBED', and 'DYED', in the mind of 'YOU'.

The Second Rule is ASSOCIATION.

Yep, Association! You need to join blocks of information. Links that have some bonding that are a-likened. One(s) which will make or create Pictures.

Picture is the vivid image and link to communication and retentiveness to the mind.

In fact, it is known that there are more nerves connecting the eyes than the ears and, that pictures only make it more stampy in nature.

So If you want to remember quickly, then,  associate the things you want to  recollect with the ones you can remember easily.

What i mean is that, let say your Phone number is 1960, you can remember it by linking it with the year Nigeria got their Independence, Simple!

If you want to  Remember a stranger's name, then ask him questions about how it's spelt, take cognizance of his facial looks and appearances.

You may eventually conclude by saying, "He's called Monday and he's as dark as the Moon!" - when you want to remember him, you just look at the Moon and all the remaining blocks will fall into  place! It's that Easy!

Lastly, the Third Law of Remembering is, REPETITION.

If you repeat anything more than once, something resembling what normally came to Abraham Lincoln will envelope you.

He said, "When i read aloud, two sense catch the idea; first, i  see what i read, secondly; i hear it, and therefore i can remember it better."

He also spoke that, "My mind is like a piece of Steel-It is very hard to scratch anything on it but, it is almost impossible, after you put it there to rub it out."- That is the power of REPETITION!

Haven't you notice that, even something you did not see  at first take for an example; a paragraph or word, you intend to see it after perhaps, the fourth casual reading of that thing?

That's a law of Nature, "What you consistently read, becomes a part of you."

Summarily, i will advise as a Professional Public Speaking Coach (that i surely am), that you should repeat at interval by not saying or repeating anything until you've consciously engrave it on your mind.

And please, go for notes, (Am talking about Business men intending to deliver some speech), few digesting-minutes before you say your intended speech (If you suddenly gets apprehensive).

Wow! Thanks friends once more for perusing! And don't forget to share and comment!
